As applicable Merchant of Record, the relevant entity is the legal party responsible for processing customer payments, managing payment compliance, handling chargebacks and payment disputes, and appearing on your bank or card statement for the relevant transaction.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that the applicable Merchant of Record will process your payment and may appear as the billing descriptor on your bank or card statement.
Your bank or card statement displays IQSPEED for direct transactions processed under this billing configuration.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
This section applies to purchases made directly from IQspeed (operator details pending) through myyiq.com. It provides regional contractual refund windows and explains how their payment target, cancellations, other billing issues, and payment disputes are handled.
8.1 Regional Refund Window
The initial successful trial payment starts the only 3-day refund request window. The clock starts once, at that trial payment. A later subscription or renewal payment does not open a new window, restart the clock, or extend the original deadline. Customers in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom have a 3-day window only when no paid IQ test or assessment was started after the trial payment. If the trial payment is the only successful payment, we refund it in full. If a full subscription payment falls inside the original trial-payment window, we refund the latest full payment instead. Once that original window closes, neither the trial payment nor any successive payment is automatically refundable; mandatory-law claims remain subject to review.
8.2 Other Billing Issues
We separately review the following matters using the transaction records and circumstances:
Duplicate Charges: If the same purchase was charged more than once because of a duplicate transaction, contact us so we can verify and correct it.
Technical Errors: If an error on our side prevented paid access or caused an incorrect charge, we will investigate and provide an appropriate correction where verified.
Legal Requirements: We provide refunds or other remedies required by applicable mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
8.3 How to Request a Refund

A standard refund request must reach us within the applicable 3-day window, or the unused-service 3-day window for the EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom. 8.4 Cancellation and Future Renewals
You may cancel through the account controls available to you. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not itself retroactively refund a payment. If you also want a refund, submit a separate request under Section 8.3.
8.5 Refund Method and Timing
Refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment processor. The processor, card network, and your bank control when the credit appears. Processing can take several business days and varies by payment method, bank, and country.
8.6 Fraud, Abuse, and Record Retention
We may verify the account, transaction, refund history, service access, technical logs, and relevant communications. We retain relevant refund, security, dispute, accounting, tax, and evidence-integrity records while applicable legal or payment-dispute periods remain open.
8.7 Payment Disputes, Chargebacks, and Unauthorized Payments
You may contact us first so we can investigate and correct a billing issue. If you believe a payment was unauthorized, you may also contact your bank, card issuer, or wallet provider promptly. During a dispute we may provide relevant transaction, account, service-access, security, and communication records through the processor's dispute process.
8.8 Third-Party Payment Platforms
Stripe processes direct payments for the Service. Refunds are subject to processor, network, and bank timelines. Purchases controlled by a separate marketplace may also be subject to that platform's process. See Stripe Payment Terms .
8.9 Applicable Mandatory Law
This contractual refund right is additional to non-waivable rights under applicable law. Where mandatory law provides a greater remedy or requires a different process, that law applies.
8.10 Regional Appendix
For detailed regional conditions, official source links, and mandatory-law review information, see the Rest of world regional terms. Regional slugs and legal content are published in English so the policy reference remains stable across languages.
The regional link uses the server-provided anonymous IP-country hint GE only as a non-binding guide. It is not persisted, and location-dependent decisions always require manual review.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Limitation of Liability

12. Suspension and Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion takes effect immediately for access and billing: you are signed out everywhere and any active subscription is cancelled, so no further charges are made. Account data is then retained for up to 180 days before permanent deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy, to prevent fraud, resolve billing and refund matters, defend legal claims (including payment disputes), and meet tax and accounting obligations. Signing in again within that period cancels the deletion and restores the account.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, subject to consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Contracting business. IQspeed (operator details pending), at Operator address to be configured, operates the Service and is the contracting business identified in these Terms.
Mandatory local rights. A location-dependent governing-law, remedy, or dispute-route question requires manual review using the transaction information and country information available for that request. These Terms do not promise a particular forum or replace a non-waivable remedy under applicable mandatory law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. The refund policy in effect when a request is reviewed applies to that request, subject always to consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduced.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and IQspeed (operator details pending).
